Welcome back, Cornerstone family! 🎉
As the school bells rang on 10th February 2026, marking the official start of Term 1, the compound at Muyenga–Bukasa came alive with excited chatter, new uniforms, and big smiles. Teachers greeted us warmly, friends hugged after the long holidays, and everyone was ready for another year of learning, growing, and shining in God’s grace.
At Cornerstone Parents’ School, we don’t just go back to class—we return with purpose! This term promises:
- Strong academics to prepare us for success
- Fun co-curricular activities like sports, music, and art
- Special focus on character building rooted in Christian values
- And of course, lots of exciting ICT Club projects!
Our ICT Club kicked off the term with energy. We held our first meeting last week, where members brainstormed new ideas for CornerstoneBuzz—our very own student newsroom! We’re planning:
- Weekly spotlights on top achievers
- Event recaps with photos and videos
- Coding challenges and simple app demos
- Tips on safe internet use for everyone
One highlight from the opening assembly: Our headteacher reminded us that “every child is a cornerstone in God’s plan.” That message stuck with us—it’s why we started this platform: to document and celebrate every moment so nothing goes undocumented!
