What a year it was for Cornerstone Parents’ School! As we kick off 2026, we’re taking a moment to look back and celebrate the incredible top performers of 2025 who were honored in our end-of-year awards ceremony.
In a special assembly filled with cheers, songs of praise, and proud parents, our headteacher and teachers recognized students who excelled in academics, character, sports, and co-curricular activities throughout the year. These shining stars truly embodied our school’s motto of holistic growth—strong minds, strong hearts, and strong faith in God.
Highlights from the 2025 Awards:
- Academic Excellence Awards went to our Primary 7 trailblazers who prepared diligently for PLE and showed outstanding results in classwork, tests, and projects. Kampala schools, including ours, saw better Grade 1 passes in 2025 compared to previous years—praise God for the hard work paying off!
- Best Overall Performers (across terms) included stars in English (the top subject nationwide this year), Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
- Character & Christian Values Awards honored learners who demonstrated kindness, discipline, leadership, and service to others—true cornerstones of our community.
- Co-curricular Stars shone in sports (inter-house games winners), music, art, and our very own ICT Club projects!
A big congratulations to all recipients—you make Cornerstone proud! Your dedication inspires the younger ones and shows what happens when we combine effort, prayer, and teamwork.
Parents and teachers played a huge role too—thank you for the support, guidance, and encouragement. As one teacher said during the ceremony: “These awards are not just for the past; they are fuel for greater things in 2026!”
